The famous Barney the dinosaur visited our park this year. He played and had fun with children. He will be joining our park again in May 2020!
Barney was created in 1987 by Sheryl Leach of Dallas, Texas. She came up with the idea while considering TV shows that she felt would be educational and also appeal to her son. 
Leach then brought together a team who created a series of home videos. The main character is a purple and green Tyrannosaurus in stuffed animal likeness, who comes to life through a child’s imagination. Click here to watch video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ASiAZ0XQAIg
